The Voice UK battles begin this weekend and it's fair to say a fair few viewers don't like them. Even Ricky Wilson told us the other day: "Historically after the blinds it's not [considered] the most exciting time on the show, because everyone likes the button-pushing."
But every time the battles come around, we can't help but flash back to series two, when Matt Henry and Jordan Lee Davies treated us to their 'unique' take on 'Do I Do' by the one and only Stevie Wonder. If this isn't proof that the battles can be incredible, we don't know what is. Here are some gifs to show just why their performance was so endlessly watchable:
1. Jordan's shoulder wiggles.
2. Matt Henry's hip action.
3. How much Danny O'Donoghue was enjoying Jordan's sass.
4. This 'feed the rope' move Matt Henry did when he wasn't quite sure how to fill the time.

5. This spectacular slide.
6. Matt Henry's unique singing style that was so amazing it actually made his eyes roll back in his head.
7. This violent turn that made Jordan look like a grumpy (if talented) toddler.
8. The fact that we hope Matt Henry walks to the shops like this.
9. This 'damn right, I'm part of the best battle ever' move.
10. Sir Tom Jones being baffled and possibly a little bit scared.
11. The moment Matt and Jordan realised that they had entirely validated the whole idea of battles in one two minute performance.
