A man has won the battle to have a giant TV screen opposite his flat turned off at night.
The Cardiff resident was being kept awake at night by the constant flickering light of the screen.
36-year-old James Board said of his experience: "It's a form of torture and it's relentless."
Cardiff Council, which owns the BBC Big Screen, has agreed that the TV will be turned off at 8.30pm.
A spokesperson said: "We are sympathetic to the resident's concerns. We've arranged for it to be switched off at dusk."
The supersized screen is often used to show sporting events and concerts.
