A whole car park has been demolished around a single car.
Construction workers in Taiyuan, Shanxi grew impatient waiting for the owner of the car to turn up.
They had reportedly been waiting for ten days for the driver to return so that they could finish a street-broadening development.
But they finally decided that they couldn't hold on any longer.
They razed the immediate area around the car, leaving it stranded among the rubble.
It is not clear whether those who were using the car park were told of the planned work.
