A fan of Taggart has had a giant image of the TV detective tattooed onto his back.
John Cuthbert decided to pay homage to the actor Mark McManus because he thinks he is "amazing".
The 34-year-old already has 60% of his body covered in tattoos and asked his friend Mark Wallace to carry out the task.
The pair are now celebrating after Cuthbert won an award for the best Scottish-themed tattoo at a recent convention, reports Deadline News.
The convention adjudicators said that the work was the "perfect embodiment of a Scottish tattoo".
Cuthbert said: "Taggart is something that every Scotsman knows and it's pretty much unique to our country.
