The Rainbow Orchid creator's one-off tale 'The Secret of the Samurai' sees the historical research assistant and antiquarian adventurer embark on an escapade that takes him into the depths of Japanese history.
Chancer must discover a lost legendary artefact when an exhibition of the Daizen Armour turns out to be in possession of a fake.
The character is the star of Ewing's acclaimed Rainbow Orchid series.
The Phoenix #75 also features continuing Simon Swift and Troy Trailblazer stories, with Adam Murphy chatting to legendary assassin Hattori Hanzo in his latest Corpse Talk instalment.
