Peter Stormare has joined the cast of The CW's Arrow.
The actor is set to play the villainous Werner Zytle in season three of the adaptation of the DC Comics classic, according to TV Guide.

Zytle will go by the name Vertigo in the series, and will be the first adversary the team face in Starling City next season as he takes over from the deceased Count Vertigo (Seth Gabel).
Stormare is most well known for playing Gaear Grimsrud in 1996 film Fargo. His other credits include Prison Break and NCIS: Los Angeles, while he most recently appeared on The Blacklist as villain Berlin.
Arrow has also added Karl Yune and Devon Aoki to its ensemble cast.
Season three of Arrow begins on October 8 on The CW.
