Neil Gaiman has said that the further issues of Sandman: Overture will be delayed.
He said that issue #3 of the Vertigo miniseries will likely arrive in July after issue #2 was released this week.
Sandman: Overture #1 debuted in October. Issue #2 was originally scheduled for December before being pushed back until February.
"July will be issue three and then probably some more months then issue four, issue five and issue six," Gaiman told CNN.
Issue #3 is still officially listed to be released on April 30.
The long-awaited return of Sandman was originally announced on a bi-monthly schedule.
Batwoman artist JH Williams III is illustrating the series.
