Frank Miller's cover for Detective Comics #27 has been revealed.
The legendary Dark Knight Returns creator has provided the image for the 75th anniversary Batman issue.
DC Comics editor Brandon Montclare revealed that the image was an unused design from Miller's All-Star Batman and Robin.
It had been rumoured that Miller would no longer be providing the cover as previously solicited.
Brad Meltzer, Bryan Hitch, Scott Snyder, Sean Murphy, Peter J Tomasi, Guillem March, Paul Dini, Dustin Nguyen, Gregg Hurwitz and Neal Adams will also be contributing to Detective Comics #27.
Detective Comics #27 will be released on January 8.
