Jamie Smart has announced the arrival of Kochi Wanaba.
The new book from the Fish-Head Steve creator has been eight years in the making.
"Kochi Wanaba is a quiet kid who loves nothing more than to draw secrets in his sketchbook," reads publisher Blank Slate Books' description.
"When the day of the annual Bee Festival falls upon his town, Kochi's loud, hyperactive girlfriend Lhys can barely contain herself.
"Unfortunately for Kochi, tolerating Lhys's excitement becomes the least of his problems as supernatural chaos breaks out all around them, threatening to change their lives forever."
Smart added on his blog: "To say any more would spoil it, but it's been a real labour of love, and I'm incredibly grateful to Kenny, Woodrow, and all at Blank Slate for helping this book become a reality.
What to Read Next
"It's not intended for children (swearing and violence), but it is hopefully funny, disturbing, provoking, and sweet, all at once."
The comic was originally serialised online.
Fish-Head Steve was recently nominated for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize.
Kochi Wanaba is available now.
