Alia Bhatt's Highway has been honoured at Elevate 2015 in Mumbai.
The Imtiaz Ali project joined Star Plus soap opera Diya Aur Baati Hum and Colors social message show Udann in being recognised.
Coinciding with International Women's Day, the event was presided over by filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and Garry Lyons of the University of Leeds, UK.
Elevate 2015 was organised as part of The Third Eye program, resource centre for information on sustainable development, climate change, health, legal and rights issues for filmmakers and creative communities in India.
Bhatt starred opposite Randeep Hooda in the 2014 project.
