Manoj Bajpayee has unveiled his character look for his latest movie Aligargh.
The actor plays a gay professor in the city of the same name in the Hansal Mehta-directed film.
The director explained: "We wanted the first look of Manoj's character to be impactful and create just the right amount of curiosity amongst the audience.
"Manoj is a fantastic actor and he embodies the trials and tribulations that his character in the film goes through."
Producer Sandeep Singh added: "This film is based on a true life incident - one that has left a deep impact on people - and we wanted to achieve the same with the first look of Manoj's character."
Bajpayee plays Dr Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras, who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation.
