Rishi Kapoor has made a return to Twitter, five years after he last tweeted.
The veteran star was welcomed back by friends and colleagues from Bollywood including Abhishek Bachchan, Anupam Kher and Karan Johar.
Since resuming activities on the site on Thursday (February 26), Kapoor has shared images of the Kapoor acting family, a picture with director Manmohan Desai and a photo with son Ranbir Kapoor.
After first joining Twitter in January 2010, the Bobby star assured fans that he would "be a regular user".
However, after just seven tweets over a six-month period, Kapoor's account went dark for the next five years.
The third-generation actor tweets under the user name @chintskap.
Kapoor is currently shooting All Is Well with Bachchan and south Indian star Asin.
