Yash Raj Films has said Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge will now keep running at the Maratha Mandir.
The production house released a statement earlier today confirming the news.
"It has been mutually decided to continue the screening in the same 11:30am morning show - without breaking the uninterrupted run of the movie," the statement read.
"This only strengthens the unconditional love of all DDLJ fans over generations.
"Raj and Simran will continue to draw audiences and reinforce the timeless romance the movie has embodied over the last two decades."
The movie had played for 1,009 weeks when it was suddenly announced earlier this week that its record-breaking run would come to an end.
The Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer was partly shot in London, Europe and India.
