Shahid Kapoor has admitted that he was anxious about going bald for his next role.

The 32-year-old actor will be seen next in director Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider.

He told Hindustan Times: "I'm very nervous. It was a tough decision for me."

"Shahid is very particular about his hair. When the look for his character was described to him, he contemplated the idea. Finally, he's decided to go ahead with the look, and he will go bald today," a source continued.

"It's been one of the most difficult decisions he's had to make."

Kapoor previously said that his decision was partly influenced by working with Kaminey filmmaker Bhardwaj.
