Salman Khan has urged the media to forget about Shah Rukh Khan's recent on-set injuries.

The actor is currently promoting his action thriller Jai Ho, which released yesterday (January 24) in India.

He told The Times of India: "[Shah Rukh Khan's accident] had to happen just before the release of Jai Ho? Don't blow this news out of proportion.

"There was no mortal attack. He has not lost his memory... He is fine, so concentrate on Jai Ho. We just found out that he is fine, so we are happy."

Khan's famous rival Shah Rukh Khan injured himself on the set of Farah Khan's Happy New Year earlier this week.

In December, he told Karan Johar that he would never be best friends with Shah Rukh Khan again, despite their reconciliation at a friend's party.
