Punit Malhotra has described Gori Tere Pyaar Mein producer Karan Johar as easygoing.

The director has previously worked with Johar on I Luv Stories and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.

He told NDTV: "As a producer Karan is lenient enough to give you whatever you want. The advantage is that he is also a director. As far as the space is concerned, he didn't come on the sets even once. As a producer, he gives you everything you want."

He went on to discuss the takings of the movie, saying: "Rs 100 crore depends on a lot of factors. The canvas of the film leads it to that zone. Ours is definitely not in that zone. It's a fun film."

Actors Karan Johar and Kareena Kapoor play a couple who fall in love despite their different backgrounds in the project.

Johar has claimed that Gore Tere Pyaar Main's romantic storyline is based on true incidents in Malhotra's life.
