Neha Dhupia has said that she wants to start working in television following its increasing popularity with Bollywood.

The actor was last seen in the Punjabi film Rangeelay, which co-starred Jimmy Shergill.

She told The Times of India: "I have three films coming up early next year - a comedy, Santa Banta, with Boman Irani, Ungli with Ranbir Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sanjay Dutt, and a satire with Anupam Kher.

"Apart from that, I'd love to do TV. Things are huge on TV these days, with cool shows like 24 being accepted."

The star also made a sideswipe at the actor Mallika Sherawat, who can currently be seen in the reality show The Bachelorette-India.

"I want to do something similar. But I don't see myself in a boot camp with cameras everywhere, and I'm certainly not going to decide who I'm going to marry on TV."
