Ayesha Kapoor, who found fame at ten years old, has said that she is a good actress despite her age.
The Black star, who is promoting her forthcoming film Sikander, said that she hopes to use the release as a springboard to better things.
"Who says you can't be a star as well as a good actor, I want to be both," the 14-year-old told Bolly Spice.
"I am young but I know that acting is my passion but at the same time I don't want to be taken over by fame. I am just Ayesha for my friends and family and it would be horrible if that changes."
Kapoor added that living in the multicultural Auroville community in Tamil Nadu has helped keep her feet on the ground as her neighbours are not big fans of Bollywood.
