Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has revealed that she loves American Idol.
The politician admitted that she always tried to catch the show as a way of relaxing after foreign excursions.
"I had a really great time recording American Idol, coming back from some place in the world off a plane, whatever time I got back," she told The View.
"I also got to meet 2008 winner David Cook and I was really excited."
Rice, who is an accomplished pianist and has played for the Queen, performed a duet with former contestant Michael Johns last year.
American Idol airs Thursdays and Fridays on ITV2.
