Arrow's Caity Lotz is appearing in the upcoming show as well, while Arthur Darvill, Franz Drameh and Ciara Renée will play new DC heroes.

Additional drama pick-ups from The CW include Vampire Diaries co-creator Julie Plec's Cordon and Devil Wears Prada writer Aline Brosh McKenna's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Cordon dramatises a viral outbreak in Atlanta, and Rachel Bloom leads Crazy Ex-Girlfriend as a young woman who leaves a promising career in New York to chase love in California.
