A new teaser for the return of The Walking Dead has been unveiled.
The 31-second clip focuses on the aftermath of the war between Rick's prison group and The Governor's forces in the mid-season finale 'Too Far Gone'.
"I know we'll never get things back to the way they used to be… It's not going to be easy, but we're not too far gone," Rick (Andrew Lincoln) is heard saying in the teaser.
There are also glimpses of the prison crew being surrounded on all sides by walkers.
The Walking Dead producer Greg Nicotero recently hinted that the upcoming episodes will "harken back to the first season".
A spinoff is also in the works, although the project is still in the "incubation stages".
