By John Noble has signed on to guest star in Forever.
The Fringe actor will feature in the season finale as an antiquities expert named Aubrey Griffin, reports Entertainment Weekly.
An investigation into the death of a museum curator leads to Aubrey asserting that the Roman dagger in the victim's possession is the same one which killed Julius Caesar.
Noble currently appears on Fox's supernatural drama Sleepy Hollow.
Forever stars Ioan Gruffudd as Henry Morgan, an immortal New York City medical examiner. Alana de la Garza, Joel David Moore, Donnie Keshawarz, Lorraine Toussaint and Judd Hirsch are also among the cast.
The season finale airs Tuesday, May 5 in the US on ABC.
