War is coming, and if Walking Dead star Chandler Riggs is to be believed, season eight will begin with a bang.

The Carl actor tweeted that he has received the script for the premiere episode, teasing that it's amazing. Or, more specifically: "Oooo, man it's good."

It's just as well that Riggs has got the script, because shooting for season eight begins next week – as confirmed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The upcoming run of episodes will see Negan and his Saviors do battle against Rick's resistance, compromising of an alliance between Alexandria, Hilltop, and The Kingdom.
