The Simpsons predicted President Donald Trump, the FIFA corruption scandal, 2014's Super Bowl finalists, and a whole load of other events, so it comes as no surprise that the show has struck gold once again with its crystal ball.
As it turns out, the long-running animation correctly predicted a few years back what Lady Gaga would do with her stunning Super Bowl performance last night (February 5).
In an episode that first aired in 2012, the pop superstar performed for Springfield residents gliding through the air on a harness.
Well, she did just that as she began her show in Houston yesterday evening, with many fans immediately noting the similarity:
It's fair to say that Gaga's half-time show was pretty spectacular, and included a run through some of her biggest and best hits.
Starting with rooftop covers of 'God Bless America' and 'This Land Is Your Land' surrounded by a load of drones, she then made the plunge into the stadium on the harness.

However, it seems The Simpsons did not foresee every aspect of the show, which included some brilliantly OTT costumes, a mic drop and an amazing ball catch.
It all went off without a hitch (à la Left Shark), and has already received positive responses across the board.
On top of that, Gaga has just announced a world tour, so all in all, not a bad 24 hours.
