Big Brother: Timebomb has kicked off with a live twist, as Simon Gross was evicted before even spending a night in the house.
Viewers were given the opportunity to choose five of the 16 housemates to play a game, with one facing deadly consequences.
Via a poll on the Big Brother app, those chosen were: Adjoa Mensah, Jack McDermott, Jade Lynch, Nick Henderson and Simon.
Big Brother then informed the five that they needed to choose a Timebomb podium, which they then had to stand behind. Each housemate was then asked to individually pull the pin from their bomb and discover their fate.
- Jack won three immunity passes to use during his time in the house
- Nick will have to complete face-to-face nominations throughout his time in the house
- Jade will be able to claim an exclusive luxury shopping budget
Big Brother then confirmed that Adjoa and Simon would be evicted immediately, before offering them the chance to swap their Timebomb.
They declined the offer, with Simon ultimately being evicted from the house. He exited immediately, returning to the stage to see Emma Willis.
Big Brother: Timebomb continues tomorrow at 9pm on Channel 5.
