Bear Grylls has recalled the moment he proposed to his wife while skinny dipping.
The 40-year-old British adventurer told Piers Morgan on his show Life Stories that when he popped the question to now-wife Shara Cannings Knight, who he went on to marry in 2000, he even hid the ring between his bum cheeks.
Describing the romantic (and slightly painful-sounding) moment, the star laughed as he said: "Well I was swimming with no clothes on. I pulled out the ring from my butt cheeks.
"I remember kneeling on the beach like this. She was standing there going, 'What are you doing?' She was in a towel and a massive Atlantic roller came and I went, will you - and it went - took me up the beach."
He continued: "I had all the seaweed and I was spinning around, so I tried it again, and in this sort of moment of heavy sedation she said yes."
Grylls also confessed to sending X Factor host Dermot O'Leary a naked picture of himself, saying: "I think... [Dermot O'Leary] texted me going, 'Where are you at the moment?' And I sent him a picture of me doing a sort of ... [Morgan interrupts with a picture of Grylls diving naked off a rock]."

He added: "We own this little island in north Wales and there's a great cliff jump into the sea and I do this every morning to be honest when I'm up there and before anyone's out.
"But the thing is with this photograph, I looked at it on my iPhone and when I texted it looked fine... And actually if you do blow it up, you can just see the end of what I didn't realise was visible so - yes, that's the danger of small screens on iPhones."
He then quipped: "Can I say it was an incredibly cold winter's day a week ago."
The interview - which also saw Grylls reflect on the death of his father, politician Sir Michael Grylls - aired last Friday (September 19).
Grylls currently stars in NBC's Running Wild with Bear Grylls, which sees him taking A-list celebrities - including Channing Tatum and Zac Efron - to remote locations for a weekend-long wild adventure.
Piers Morgan's Life Stories continues on ITV on Friday at 9pm.
