Top Gear's Matt LeBlanc appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's show and there was only ever one thing they were going to ask him about, wasn't there?

The 50-year-old actor got wearily dragged into yet another conversation about a TV show that finished 13 years ago and, at first, he looked like he couldn't BE anymore uncomfortable.

But that doesn't matter, as he managed to groan out a great anecdote about Friends, that TV show that finished 13 years ago that we all LOVE!

After explaining that his daughter doesn't watch the show and he's now getting mistaken for Joey's dad as he's aged so much, host Jimmy Kimmel told him about JAY-Z's recreation of the Friend's opening title sequence for his track, 'Moonlight'.

During the video they also recreate part of the episode 'The One Where No One Is Ready' – where Joey wears ALL the clothes – a scene which saw Matt dislocate his arm while filming in real life. Yikes.

He explained: "That was the one where I dislocated my shoulder. The audience that night was made up of Diet Coke contest winners.

"It was the second scene. Chandler and I are fighting over the big down chair – I'm downstage at the table and he comes in the door and we both look at each other, look at the chair and neither one of us is sitting in it.

"So we both race to the chair and I have to just step over the coffee table and land in this big, huge, comfortable chair. I don't even think it qualifies as a stunt.

"Somehow I ended up completely upside down and I was going to land on my head between the table and the chair, so I put my arm up to break my fall and just exploded my shoulder. So I get up and everyone thought it was part of the show."

He then explained that he went through the door to Monica's room – which is actually a fake door, as they shot her bedroom somewhere else – and was in "total pain".

He continued: "I just kinda collapsed against the wall and I'm looking at my arm and my whole shoulder is gone – my arm is sticking out of my ass basically.

"And I look up and Anthony Edwards from ER happened to be there at the next stage over and he comes over and I'm like: 'Did I hit my head too? Because I know you're not a real doctor, get out of here.'"

Apparently the fire department came for some reason and all the competition winners had to be flown home, then flown back again for another date. Meanwhile Matt LeBlanc's arm sling had to be written into the plot, where the show blamed it on Joey jumping on the bed.

While we're on the subject of Joey you might be interested in this fan theory about why he and Rachel SHOULD have ended up together in the show. We know, it's very controversial.
