There are plenty of shenanigans going on in the latest episode of Neighbours' behind the scenes show 'Neighbourshood', but in amongst all the fooling around, there may be a hint at a big future storyline too.

Ben Nicholas (formerly Stingray Timmins), who hosts the show, can be seen chatting to Scarlet Vas (Mishti Sharma) in the clip, who is once again dressed in her police uniform!

But that's not the interesting thing here – there's also a brief shot of an ambulance on set and the two joke point at something off camera and talk about it being a "disaster" and"a bit of a tragedy".

They could just be joking around, but we don't think you wheel out the old ambulance for a brief gag on a behind-the-scenes YouTube show.

Eagle-eyed viewers may also notice Scott McGregor (Mark Brennan) wandering around too, so it's looking like he could be another character caught up in these scenes.

We know that Mishti will be offered the chance to rejoin the force very soon, after she starts interfering in the Who Killed Hamish case, so it's not too surprising that the writers will throw some sort of test her way.

What to Read Next

Unfortunately there may be a bit of a wait until we get to see what the cast and crew are working on here as the soap is currently working on scenes for February/March next year.

Not only that, but in a week's time Neighbours is going to be temporarily changing its timeslot in the run up to the annual Christmas break.

It's a bit annoying to be sure, but don't worry, the soap becomes an all-year-round soap from 2018 as part of its new multi-year deal with Channel 5.
