Coronation Street star Nicola Thorp has posted a series of tweets about sexual harassment in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal.
Thorp – who joined the ITV soap earlier this year as Nicola Rubinstein – has been inundated with messages of support on Twitter after making claims about her own experiences as a young actress.
"F**k you to the director who got 21 y/o me to audition before him in a bikini then blow up a balloon til it burst in my face for a coffee ad," she said in the first of many tweets.
She went on to add: "F**k you to the broadcaster who called me about a 'potential project' at 1am then told me he had wanted to sleep with me when he met me..."
Thorp then recalled being 'trapped' in a toilet cubicle by a restaurant manager as a teenager, saying: "F**k you to the restaurant manager who trapped 18 y/o me in a toilet cubicle and wouldn't let me out unless I kissed him."
And in another tweet, she said: "F**k you to the married director who harassed me with messages asking if I had feelings for him and threatened me when I told him I didn't."

She went on to add: "If you think you don't know a woman who has been sexually harassed. You're wrong," tweeting the hashtag "#itstimeforchange".
Thorp's character Nicola arrived on the Cobbles back in the summer as the long-lost daughter of villainous builder Pat Phelan.
She is currently taking centre stage in a big baby plot after revealing that she's pregnant following her one-night stand with Phelan's enemy Gary Windass – who also happens to be in a long-term relationship with Sarah Platt.
Prior to joining Corrie, the actress hit the headlines when she was sent home by her boss for wearing flat shoes whilst working as a receptionist in London. This prompted her to start a campaign against women being forced to wear high heels in the workplace.
