Jersey Shore's Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has confirmed that she is pregnant and engaged to boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
The reality star revealed that she is 15 weeks pregnant and is looking forward to beginning a new phase in her life.
"I have different priorities now. I don't care what anybody else thinks. As long as I know I'm ready and he's ready," Snooki told Us Magazine.
Her fiancé LaValle insisted that he and Snooki are determined to be good parents, promising: "We are not going to screw this up."
Snooki did admit that her first reaction after discovering the pregnancy just after New Year's Eve was fear.
"[I thought] 'S**t, I've been drinking!' I was worried," she explained. "It was New Year's Eve and we were in Vegas, so I did go crazy."

The Jersey Shore star had previously remained tight-lipped since rumors of her pregnancy first emerged last week. It was reported that MTV had been attempting to conceal the news so as not to derail her spinoff series with Jenni 'JWoww' Farley.
Snooki was spotted wearing her engagement ring in public for the first time earlier in the week.
