Jenna Ushkowitz will release her memoir Choosing Glee next year.

The new book will trace Ushkowitz's journey from being adopted as a baby to landing the role of Tina Cohen-Chang in Glee, reveals The Hollywood Reporter.

Ushkowitz offered a preview of the book in a statement, saying: "My goal is for you to walk away from this book looking at the world differently than when you started. It's about how to have, do and be anything you want."

Choosing Glee will hit shelves in spring 2013.

Ushkowitz's book deal comes as Chris Colfer is to release his novel The Land of Stories.

Jane Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester, published her own autobiography Happy Accidents last September.
