Sorry Directioners, any future One Direction reunion will probably have to be like the Spice Girls — where one of the most beloved members is missing.
That's because Zayn Malik is still pretty pissed at all of his former bandmates. To be fair, in a new Vogue profile, he admits that the X Factor band's rise to fame alienated him from the others fairly early on.
"We went from theatres, to arenas, to stadiums – there was never any sort of bridge between. Just boom, boom, boom," he explained. "I guess that kind of progression to any mind – but especially when you're 17, 18 – it kind of affects you a little bit.
"People take it different ways – especially when there are five different personalities. The relationships had broken apart."
According to Zayn, those relationships were unrepairable by the time he left the group in 2015, and he's not got over the way the remaining members of One Direction handled his departure.
"I ain't spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you," he said. "That's just the way it is. There's things that happen and things that were said after I left... Snide things.

"Small things that I would never have expected."
So, count Zayn out of #1DReunion then. As for the rest of the band, Liam Payne hinted over the summer that One Direction would hopefully be regrouping "one day soon".
"It's amazing that we're doing our own thing and then, hopefully one day soon, we get back together and have another great time of it, who knows?" he teased.
Fans did get a mini-reunion earlier this month when Liam and Louis Tomlinson raised money for Stand Up to Cancer on a very special edition of Celebrity Gogglebox.
