Former Glee star Mark Salling has been indicted on child pornography charges in Los Angeles.
The US Attorney's Office announced Friday (May 27) that it would be charging the 33-year-old Texas native with receiving and possessing child pornography.
If convicted, he could face between five and 20 years behind bars.
US Attorney Eileen M. Decker said Friday: "Those who download and possess child pornography create a market that causes more children to be harmed.
"Young victims are harmed every time an image is generated, every time it is distributed, and every time it is viewed."
