Shayne Ward is releasing 'The Way You Were' as his new single.
The song is taken from his fourth album Closer, and will be released digitally on June 22.
'The Way You Were' serves as the follow-up to his lead single 'My Heart Would Take You Back', which was released alongside the album in April.
Closer was Ward's first independent release and was funded through PledgeMusic.
The X Factor winner will unveil a music video for his latest release in the coming weeks.
It was recently confirmed that Ward will join the cast of Coronation Street later this year, playing the cousin of Kym Marsh's Michelle Connor.
Following the news, he admitted that he was in "total disbelief" about the opportunity.
