Snoop Dogg seems to have well and truly buried the hatchet with Iggy Azalea, defending both her and Macklemore.
The 'Drop It Like It's Hot' rapper had a brief feud with Azalea last year, when he posted unflattering photos to Instagram and likened them to the star.
Snoop Dogg later apologised and has now said that both Macklemore and Azalea have "soul".
"Rap is supposed to grow. One thing about Iggy and Macklemore - they got soul," he told the New York Times.
"They're inspired by hip-hop. I don't care how you're gonna take it to your people and flip it and dip it and serve it."
Snoop Dogg also spoke about the funk influences on his forthcoming new album Bush, claiming: "There's a void for that style of music.

Bush was produced by Pharrell Williams and features the single 'Peaches N Cream'.
