Kasabian are to headline Glastonbury Festival 2014.

The Worthy Farm event has also confirmed performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Manic Street Preachers, Elbow and Pixies.

Kasabian, who had been widely tipped as headliners in recent weeks, will close the festival on the Sunday night, with Arcade Fire previously revealed to be topping the bill on the Friday.

However, Saturday's Pyramid Stage headliner has yet to be announced, with the slot currently advertising "special guests".


Elsewhere, the festival has added Jack White, Massive Attack, Rudimental, Skrillex, De La Soul, MGMT and London Grammar.

Jake Bugg, MIA, Paolo Nutini, Goldfrapp, Kelis and John Newman have also been added to this year's lineup.


The latest names join already-confirmed performers including Dolly Parton, Lily Allen, Lana Del Rey, The Black Keys, Disclosure and Blondie.

Glastonbury Festival 2014 takes place from June 25-29.
