We open with a misty landscape and something hurtling through a jungle before seeing herds of gorillas and a buff torso swinging through the trees. It can only be the The Legend of Tarzan.
The trailer for Warner's upcoming jungle-epic has just dropped, and we're simply roaring with enthusiasm.
Alexander Skarsgård (True Blood) looks tremendous running with apes, swinging from trees, jumping down waterfalls and being generally kick-ass.
Margot Robbie, arguably the busiest actress in Hollywood thanks to upcoming beefy roles in in Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot and Suicide Squad, takes the female lead as Jane.
Christoph Waltz, Samuel L Jackson and John Hurt also make up the cast, at the helm of Harry Potter director David Yates.
It was only a matter of time before Tarzan got the full Hollywood treatment.
What to Read Next
What started out as a beloved children's tale developed into a series of books, classic black and white, animated and colour TV series, video games and movies.
It has been adapted for film on various occasions, most recently with Twilight's Kellan Lutz in the titular role in Tarzan (2013), which bombed dramatically.
And of course Disney had a crack in 1999 with Tony Goldwyn, Minnie Driver and Brian Blessed all lending their voices.
The Legend of Tarzan is hoping to trump them all - it's due for release on July 8.
