With Marvel constantly building up the connections between its separate properties, it should probably come as no surprise that Thor: Ragnarok is hinting at a Doctor Strange tie-in.

The latest photos from the set of the Chris Hemsworth-starring film have revealed that Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorcerer Supreme could be lurking in the background (via Twitter user Daley Pearson).

Hemsworth was snapped holding a calling card that clearly has Doctor Strange's New York address written on it.

Strange's magical base of operations - aka his 'Sanctum Sanctorum' - is located at 177a Bleecker Street in Greenwich Village, as can be read on the card.

Will Strange himself show up in the movie? Is the doctor taking house calls? With the good doctor a master of magic, he seems like a good fit for Thor's space gods from another level of reality.

Thor's third solo outing will also feature Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, Karl Urban and Mark Ruffalo.

It has been described as a 'cosmic road movie', and will also include elements of the popular 'Planet Hulk' storyline.

Hiddleston was spotted on set as Loki this week, putting a casual Hemsworth to shame in his suit and tie.

And Natalie Portman recently confirmed that she will 100% definitely not be back as Jane Foster any time soon.

Thor: Ragnarok will be released on October 27, 2017, in the UK and November 3, 2017, in the US.
