UK audiences will still be getting Avengers: Infinity War before the US after Disney shifted the release date forward.
Earlier this month, it was confirmed that Infinity War would be released on April 27 in the US, day-and-date with the UK, seemingly ending the run of Marvel movies always opening earlier in the UK and most of the world.
But while we won't be getting it a week ahead of the US, we will be getting it a day before, as Disney's moved the UK release of Infinity War up to Thursday, April 26.
We haven't got any more information as to why the release date was changed, but it's not unusual for a Marvel movie to be released on a day other than Friday in the UK, with some – like Thor: Ragnarok – opening on a Tuesday.
This week has seen a new still released from the eagerly anticipated movie, giving us a better look at Bucky's new bionic arm that was glimpsed in the trailer.
Thanks to a new Lego set, we might know what Thor will be up to with Groot and Rocket Raccoon in Infinity War.

The speculation began with the first look at Thor's new weapon – now confirmed as the hammer Stormbreaker – which showed it with a very Groot-y looking tree-branch handle, and now it looks like the trio will be setting out to replace Thor's Mjolnir, destroyed by his sister Hela in Thor: Ragnarok.
Avengers: Infinity War is released in UK cinemas on April 26 and US cinemas on April 27.
