We've literally waited years for the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers to kick Thanos's purple ass. Now, it looks like it will actually happen.
An Avengers: Infinity War appearance for Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) was tipped a few months back, but Vin Diesel is making it sound like his Guardians pals will be tagging along too.

Vin said as much in a video chat with his Facebook followers today (August 19): "Next year you've got Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 coming and that whole concept started from you all saying, 'When are you gonna be in a Marvel movie?' And you remember the first picture after that Marvel meeting that I had where I was standing [with] the Avengers thing in the back – some of you can look up that picture… there was this old Avengers copy that was behind me in that picture if you look back on my Facebook page you can find that.
"What's gonna be surreal is that picture is going to come to pass because now the Guardians will be included in Avengers: Infinity War and that's incredibly exciting. Incredibly exciting. Incredibly exciting and something that if you were a part of our page you knew before everybody."

There's been no official confirmation from Marvel Studios on the Guardians and Avengers crossover just yet - but we can trust Vin, right?
Both the Avengers and the Guardians movies have been linked in the past through shared villain Thanos - although the Mad Titan apparently does not pop up in next year's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
If the Infinity War squad isn't overflowing with superheroes already, directors Anthony and Joe Russo have been hinting at adding a new Marvel character into the mix as well.
The strongest contender to fill the All-Star Avengers roster (that's not their actual name) seems to be Captain Marvel, following Oscar winner Brie Larson's casting in the role over the summer.
What we do know, however, is that Thanos voice actor Josh Brolin will be in it and the script 'blew him away' - high praise from an intergalactic warlord.
We're sure to find out more as the May 4, 2018 release date for Avengers: Infinity War gets ever-closer.
