In Spider-Man: Homecoming, Tom Holland will take on the role of Marvel Comics legend Stan Lee's most iconic creation (sorry, Iron Man).
And Lee – who is known for his recurring cameos in almost every Marvel movie – has high praise for the young British actor.

"Oh, he's wonderful!" he said during a Q&A at Denver Comic Con (via Comic Book Resources). "I was with him the other day. He is great! I can't believe it.
"It's as if we created a living being to be Spider-Man, and it turned out to be him."
Lee was unable to comment on whether he was talking figuratively or that Marvel has been taking advantage of its parent company Disney's expert geneticists.
Spider-Man was created by Lee and Steve Ditko in 1962's Amazing Fantasy #15.
Jon Watts is directing the Marvel Studios and Sony co-production, which also stars Marisa Tomei, Donald Glover, Michael Keaton, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier and Robert Downey Jr.
Spider-Man: Homecoming recently began shooting this week and will be released on July 7, 2017.
