Paul Walker returned to the Fast & Furious series for its fourth movie in 2009, reuniting with Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster. The movie took over $360m at the box office. Two further Fast & Furious films with the original cast followed, with Fast & Furious 7 due for release in 2014.

Crime drama Takers features Paul Walker as part of an ensemble cast which also includes Zoe Saldana, Chris Brown, Idris Elba, Michael Ealy, Hayden Christensen and Matt Dillon. Despite mixed reviews, the film performed well at the box office and author Stephen King named it among his top five movies of 2010.
