Radhika Apte has said that she is "terrible" at giving auditions.
The actor made her comments at Ritesh Batra's Poetic License, an initiative to revive Mumbai's historical Irani cafe scene.
"I wouldn't have got Badlapur if I had to audition. I am terrible in auditions," she said.
Apte was recently seen in the critically and commercially acclaimed project with Varun Dhawan, Huma Qureshi, Divya Dutta and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The 29-year-old also spoke about the process of creating a character in her films.
Apte's next release is the upcoming adult comedy Hunterrr with Gulshan Devaiah.
