SonySony revealed its new PlayStation 4 console in full for the first time to delegates at the annual E3 Expo on Monday (June 10).

PlayStationIt has also been announced that the PS4 will place no restrictions on used games. The console does not need an 'always-on' internet connection, and will not require online authentication.

SonyPlayStation Plus membership will also carry over to PS4. Although PS Plus membership is required for online play, non-members will still be able to play all single-player games and use all media services.

SonyThe PlayStation 4 is priced at $399 in the US (£349 in the UK and €399 in Europe). It will launch later in 2013 during the holiday season. PlayStation's cloud-based gaming service Gaikai will launch in the US during 2014.
