Star Fox Wii U will be playable at this year's E3 gaming expo, it has been confirmed.
Shigeru Miyamoto confirmed the news in a YouTube video posted by Smosh Games. He told the presenters that everyone will be able to play the demo.
"I think we'll have a version of [Star Fox] ready at E3 that everyone can play," Miyamoto revealed.
Elaborating on previous comments about the Wii U GamePad, Miyamoto said that having two screens will be an important part of the Star Fox experience.
"But one of the questions that we often get is how is the GamePad being used in a particular game, and Star Fox is a game where having two screens is really important. It works really well," he continued.
"One of the things that we're doing is, often times in games you have the cinema scenes where it's a movie that's playing and you have to just sit back and watch. There's no gameplay.

"But because we have the GamePad with the second screen, what we can do is have these cinematic sequences in the game where you're still able to look around and play."
Star Fox, which is a working title, is the first new core instalment in the Fox McCloud series for nine years and the sixth overall.
The game is yet to receive a firm release date but Miyamoto has previously stated that he expects it to arrive before the next entry in the Legend of Zelda series.
