If you've always felt that Game of Thrones would be perfect with a few more songs by Chris Martin, you're in luck.

NBC has unveiled a new preview of a Game of Thrones musical written by Coldplay, which will air on Red Nose Day US.

The tongue-in-cheek parody of stage musicals includes an earnest Chris Martin pining about a new batch of songs written for his favourite denizens of Westeros.

"It's just been the most amazing creative outpouring that I've ever experienced," he says.

The other members of Coldplay join Chris for some singing lessons with Game of Thrones stars Kit Harington, Mark Addy, John Bradley, Iwan Rheon and Rose Leslie.

Given that a previous teaser features Peter Dinklage name-checking all of the best dead Game of Thrones characters, this musical is surely can't-miss television!
