Allison Janney celebrated her win at the Critics' Choice Television Awards in the best way possible - by snogging James Corden.

Corden presented the Best Supporting Actress prize to Mom star Janney at Sunday's gala, and received a smooch after calling her "one of the greatest actresses [he's] ever met".

The impassioned kiss drew quite a few swoons from the star-packed Beverly Hilton, with Janney even having to take a moment to regain her composure.

"You're one of my favorite comics on the planet," Janney declared as Corden sheepishly backed away from the microphone.

Host Cat Deeley made light of the steamy smooch moments later, telling the audience: "I think there were tongues!"
