Diamond Comic Distributors has released its January sales charts.
Batman #27 was the best-selling comic of the month, followed by the oversized Detective Comics #27, which celebrates the 75th anniversary of Bill Finger and Bob Kane's character.
Avengers World #1 secured third slot, while Harley Quinn remained in the top ten with follow-up issue #2 taking the eighth spot.
Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples' Saga vol 1 once again topped the graphic novel charts. It was followed by The Walking Dead vol 1: Days Gone Bye.
Marvel Comics enjoyed the biggest market share, earning a 34.09% dollar share and 37.39% unit share. DC Comics followed with 28.06% and 30.77%.
Overall sales were down by 7.71% / 7.39% from December, and 5.09% / 7.42% compared to January, 2013.
Elsewhere, Saga vol 2 charted in sixth place. The first Saga collection was released in October 2012.
